Position Overview:
As a Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for overseeing the entirety of the procurement function, managing tasks from generating purchase orders to invoicing and receiving goods. They are responsible for purchasing goods, materials, and services to meet client requirements, while considering factors such as price, quality, and delivery to ensure uninterrupted supply.
What you’ll do as the Procurement Specialist:

- Ensure that order placement and ETA management is maintained at no greater than the defined SLA
- Prioritize the correct sourcing route to maintain VIR and supplier rebates and comply with export processes to prevent additional costs or risk to the business across entire EMEA region and Zones EMEA entities.
- Ensure that supplier relationships are leveraged to allow deal registration, bid management and ensure downstream activities can be streamlined.
- Execute purchase orders with suppliers, aligning with predetermined cost, quantity, and delivery objectives.
- Ensure that you can foster internal relationships with other departments to provide 5 star service.
- Aim for a minimum of 5% of orders older than 48 hours to have no estimated time of arrival (ETA), unless there are significant constraints from the manufacturer.
- Serve as a liaison between suppliers and various departments, facilitating purchasing processes for new projects and initiatives.
- Ensure that orders lacking an ETA after 48 hours are effectively resolved with assistance from the sourcing team.
- Prioritize the completion of updating all open purchase orders for entities in Zones EMEA by 11am daily, facilitating successful utilization of Go Zone and My Zone.
- Generate weekly, daily, and monthly reports as needed, collaborating closely with Finance and Sales teams to identify avenues for continuous improvement.
- Continued delivery of 5-Star Service to customers.
- Understand how route to market is affected by accreditation and VAT compliance and ensure this is relayed to Zones sales teams.
- Have demonstrable experience of working with large scale global distributors as well as small OEM’s.
What you will bring to the team:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Graduate/Master's - Majors in Supply Chain Management (preferred)
- Any certification in supply chain management will be a plus point.
- 3-4 years’ experience working in an Offshore/Outsourced model in a combined procurement /operation/supply chain function; reseller hardware/software industry preferred.
- An ability to effectively manage time and tasks to ensure SLA’s are maintained.
- General understanding of information technology products and terminology is required.
- Vendor engagement
- Excellent Coordination, Excellent Communication Skills, Business Excellence
- Hands-on experience of working on ERP tools with emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its CE offering.
- Should be aware of current technology trends.
